About The Position
This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care in the Medical/Surgical unit. The candidate should have significant experience in MedSurg and/or ICU, with expertise in general surgical and vascular patient management.
Requirements
- BLS and NIHSS certifications required.
- Minimum of 18 months of experience in MedSurg and/or ICU with EPIC or Cerner experience required.
- Proficient in wound care, chest tubes, NGT, IV skills, medication administration, and documentation skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles.
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions.
- Maintain accurate, detailed reports and records.
- Consult and coordinate with healthcare team members to assess, plan, implement, or evaluate patient care plans.
