RN, Registered Nurse Med-Surg, Bellevue: PRN

Firelands Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Med-Surg unit in Bellevue. This PRN position offers a minimum of 24 hours per month, with 12 of those hours being a weekend shift. Requirements
- Current Ohio RN license
- CPR prior to patient care experience
- Current ACLS and Basic EKG required or obtained within 6 months of hire and remain current
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Computer proficiency
Responsibilities
- Implements the nursing process with patients, including carrying out physician orders regarding diet, medication, and treatment in accordance with Firelands standards of care.
- Performs assessments, monitors and ensures quality care through observation and evaluation.
- Documents nursing interventions on care plans, medical records, and reports findings to physicians as needed.
- Instructs patients, staff, and family members regarding treatments, nursing plans, and related patient care directed towards a safe discharge.
- Responds to emergencies.
- Maintains availability of medications and supplies.
- Ensures cleanliness of equipment and environment.
- Demonstrates service excellence and acts as an ambassador and advocate for FRMC.
