About The Position
This position is for a Registered Nurse (RN) in a Medical-Surgical (Med Surg) unit. The role requires a minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital med-surg setting. Preferred experience includes administering intravenous medications such as Heparin, Insulin, Amiodarone, and Cardizem. The nurse must be licensed in Kansas or a Compact state and hold AHA BLS and ACLS certifications. The role may involve floating to the Emergency Department within scope. Availability to work two weekends per month and participate in holiday rotations is required. The facility has a nicotine-free policy and offers virtual orientation weekly on Mondays. Orientation hours are not billed. Local candidates are considered with the potential for conversion to permanent status after the initial contract. Bi-weekly pay is provided.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital med-surg setting.
- Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Kansas or a Compact state.
- AHA BLS certification required.
- AHA ACLS certification required.
