About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides prescribed medical treatment and personal care to patients that are ill, injured, convalescent, or disabled per the State of California Nursing Practice Act in the following settings at Mountains Community Hospital: Medical Surgical Unit, Emergency Services, Perioperative Services, and Skilled Nursing Facility. On-call is required.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree (AA) or equivalent from a two-year College or technical school.
• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Current State of California Nursing license.
• Current BLS certificate.
• ACLS upon hire (for Med/Surg and House Supervisor).
• PALS within 6 months of hire (for Med/Surg and House Supervisor).
• Basic arrhythmia certification required within 6 months of hire (for Med/Surg and House Supervisor).

Nice To Haves

• One to two years’ experience in specific nursing service i.e. Emergency Services, Perioperative Services, Medical Surgical Services, Skilled Nursing Services.
