About The Position

Sentara Leigh Hospital, located in Norfolk, Virginia is hiring a Temporary RN Internal Traveler for their 24 Bed Med/Surg - Post Surgical Unit located on the 5th floor - 5 East! This is a brand-new state of the art 24 bed unit that offers a wide variety of medical diagnosis related to Post Surgical Med/Surg Unit. The unit has a 5 to 6:1 Patient to Nurse ratio.

Requirements

Associates, Bachelors, Masters, or diploma in the Nursing Field required
Virginia or Compact Multi-State License in good standing
Basic Life Support (BLS)
NIH Stroke Scale
Two or more years of current acute care hospital RN experience.

Responsibilities

Provide care for patients on a 24-bed Med/Surg - Post Surgical Unit.
Manage a patient to nurse ratio of 5 to 6:1.
