About The Position

Join a highly collaborative Medical-Surgical Telemetry team as a Registered Nurse (RN) for a 4-week assignment at a Critical Access Hospital. This position provides care to a diverse patient population including medical-surgical, telemetry, orthopedic, urology, ENT, gynecology, general surgery, and progressive care patients. Nurses are expected to function as critical thinkers, team leaders, and patient advocates while providing high-quality care in a fast-paced environment supported by 24/7 hospitalist, laboratory, respiratory, and radiology services.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical Telemetry experience required
• Prior travel experience required
• Charge Nurse experience required
• Insulin drip management experience required
• Cardiac drip management experience required
• Epic experience within the past 2 years required
• Active AHA BLS Certification required
• Active AHA ACLS Certification required
• NIHSS Certification required prior to start
• Strong telemetry interpretation and cardiac monitoring skills required
• Ability to care for progressive care patients within scope of practice required
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and critical thinking skills required
• Reliable transportation required due to limited public transportation access

• Progressive Care experience preferred
