Our Minneapolis medical/surgical float team is an integral part of nursing services within our medical/surgical community and provides valuable resources to the hospital system. Team members apply specific skill sets to four departments and provide additional resources as needs are identified. This approach offers the flexibility of working in different units while learning new skills every day. The float team is extremely knowledgeable, resourceful and flexible with the care they provide and units they support. We value teamwork, open communication, safety and respect. Accountable for professional practice including independent nursing functions and delegated medical functions performed in collaboration with other health team members. This position will be scheduled on the MPLS and STP campuses. THIS IS AN MNA CONTRACT POSITION.
