About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) – Atrium Health Mercy – 3 North Med/Surg Renal Unit FT Nights. 3 North is a 31-bed Medical Surgical unit that specializes in the treatment of new onset medical conditions and continuum of care for a diverse population of adult patients. Common medical conditions addressed by our healthcare team include but are not limited to: issues related to pancreatitis, diabetes, sickle cell, Gastro-issues, Pneumonia, COPD, Substance abuse, placement, mental issues, and all other general medical conditions. As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Using evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skills communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association

Nice To Haves

• 1 year of inpatient nursing experience preferred.
• At least 6 months required experience to come in outside of the New Grad residency program.
