About The Position
Sentara RMH Medical Center is now hiring a Registered Nurse for the Medical Oncology unit. This is a 36-bed medical-surgical & telemetry unit with a subpopulation of oncology, chemotherapy, and end-of-life care. Our team provides compassionate high-quality care to a diverse patient population. Sign on bonus up to $20,000 offered with no commitment! Requirements
- Associates or Bachelor's Degree – Nursing (Required)
- Registered Nurse (Required)
- Previous acute care experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities
- Performing a competent level of nursing care as demonstrated by the critical thinking model known as the nursing process.
- Assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, coordination of care- teaching and health promotion and evaluation.
- Ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence- based practice /nursing research, quality, evaluation, resource utilization, and environmental health.
- Possessing clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.
