About The Position

Mobile Health Team Inc. is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse- Med/Surg/Obs/Tele for a 13-week travel assignment in Globe, AZ. This position involves monitoring patients' heart function using EKG machines, analyzing results, administering medications, educating patients, and coordinating with telemetry technicians. The role requires flexibility to float if needed and adherence to facility policies regarding vaccinations and proximity rules.

Requirements

Must have at least 3 years of RN Telemetry Med / Surg, Med-surg Adult experience
Must have and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification during employment
Effective team skills, including interaction, support, and respect are required.
Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
Willingness to participate in continuing education and training programs
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
Excellent communication skills, professionalism, and reliability
Ability to learn and apply basic computer skills including locating and opening documents, completing forms, opening and sending e-mail messages.
Drug screen and background check (facility required)
Flu vaccine is required NO exceptions
Must be willing to float if needed

Responsibilities

Using electrocardiogram (EKG) machines to continuously track heart performance
Analyzing EKG results to establish baselines and spot abnormalities
Recording EKG results to keep patient information accurate
Overseeing stress tests to assess patients’ heart function
Delivering emergency medical care when patients suffer heart attacks or other life-threatening problems
Overseeing and coordinating the activities of telemetry technicians and other staff in their units
Administering medications and other treatments ordered by physicians
Educating patients on lifestyle changes and ongoing treatments prior to discharge from the hospital
