Post-operative spinal surgery Low/Moderate/High Pathway, Bundle Spinal surgery for: · Lumbar disc disease · Spondylolisthesis · Spinal deformity · Spine tumors or trauma Surgical drains (JP, Hemovac) PCAs Progressive Mobility. Patients with Airway management via tracheostomy tube; on a trach collar, requiring no more than Q2H suctioning Intermittent BIPAP or CPAP HFNC. Requirements

  • Graduate of a Board of Nursing approved nursing education program.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS).
  • Active registered nurse (RN) multi-state compact and/or single-state license with privileges to practice in the state(s) where the RN is providing client nursing services.
  • Typically requires 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
  • Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking.
  • Time management, prioritization and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in operating computer functions (e.g., E-mail, electronic records, digital platforms etc.) clinical, aviation, maintenance, communications, and administrative departments.

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN)

Responsibilities

  • Provide care for spine patients.
  • Manage patients with post-operative spinal surgery.
  • Administer care for patients with lumbar disc disease, spondylolisthesis, spinal deformity, and spine tumors or trauma.
  • Manage surgical drains (JP, Hemovac) and PCAs.
  • Assist patients with progressive mobility.
  • Provide care for patients with airway management via tracheostomy tube, on a trach collar, requiring no more than Q2H suctioning, Intermittent BIPAP or CPAP HFNC.
