About The Position
This role involves providing expert nursing care across a wide range of specialties, including Neurology, Orthopedics, Oncology, Observation, Pulmonary Post Thoracic Surgery, Renal Dialysis, Vascular and Medical Telemetry units. The nurse will implement complex care plans, vigilantly monitor patient conditions, and ensure seamless communication with the broader medical team. The role acts as a central hub for patient care, synchronizing efforts between physicians, therapists, and specialists for superior outcomes. The nurse will masterfully carry out orders for specialized populations, from post-thoracic recovery to renal and pulmonary care. Additionally, the nurse will rapidly assess and coordinate discharge and care needs, serving as a steady, expert advocate for patients in ever-changing clinical environments.
Requirements
- BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
- Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
- Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR professional licensure at time of hire required.
