About The Position

Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.

Requirements

• 1 year of recent acute care experience as a Registered Nurse
• 3 months experience working with Post-Acute Transgender Surgical Patients as a Registered Nurse
• 1 year of recent experience working with a surgical patient population
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
• Current healthcare provider CPR certification

Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining the knowledge and abilities essential to the performance of stated behaviors.
• Carries out legal responsibilities within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act.
• Accountable to the NURSE SVC SUPV 2 for overall work performance.
