About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) Med-Surg Acute Care/Observation Unit will provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients. The RN will utilize specialized knowledge and expertise to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care, using the nursing process for critical disease states.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Acute Care, Med-Surg, Telemetry, or similar areas required.
- Current RN License to practice in Colorado.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
- Proof of current Flu Vaccine—no exemptions accepted.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care to adult patients.
- Utilize specialized knowledge and expertise to plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate patient care, using the nursing process for critical disease states.
- Participate in the call rotation and take one call shift per two-week period if requested due to staffing needs.
- Provide holiday coverage as required.
