About The Position
This position requires the ability to provide care to childbearing women and their newborns, as well as selected gynecologic and clean surgical patients in a safe and nurturing environment. The Registered Nurse (RN) must assess the physical and emotional needs of the patient/family, develop and implement a plan of care, and supervise others in its implementation while assessing its effectiveness. The role requires knowledge and skills appropriate to the age of the patient being served.
Requirements
- Must be enrolled in a BSN or MSN program from an accredited school of professional nursing within six months of hire or rehire and graduate on or before the third employment anniversary date into a nursing position.
- Registered nurse license required.
- BLS within months of hire required.
- NRP within 3 months of hire required.
