About The Position

Community Health Network is expanding to a new campus in Westfield, opening in Spring 2027. This new campus will offer a full range of care options, including advanced critical care for adults and newborns, and outpatient services focused on wellness and prevention. Community Health Network emphasizes 'community' as the heart of its organization, supporting caregivers' professional growth to better serve patients with exceptional, simply delivered care. The Registered Nurse will uphold professional standards of practice and the Nurse Practice Act, managing patient care across the healthcare continuum for optimal, safe, and cost-effective outcomes. This role requires skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and resource management. Specifically, the RN in Maternity will provide direct patient care to mothers and infants within an LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum) environment.

Requirements

  • Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
  • 1 year of RN experience in Labor & Delivery required

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, performance, the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of the Community Health Network.
  • Manage patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner.
  • Demonstrate skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resources.
  • Provide direct patient care to mothers and infants in an LDRP environment.
