About The Position

The RN Nurse Manager serves as the clinical leader within their community at Suite Living Senior Care. This role offers a structured, relationship-driven environment where the focus is on leading care rather than reacting to crises. The Nurse Manager collaborates with caregivers, residents, families, providers, hospice teams, and other healthcare partners to ensure residents receive thoughtful, consistent, high-quality care. A key feature of this role is the predictable work-life balance, with no weekday on-call responsibilities due to a partnership with a dedicated service for Monday-Friday on-call coverage. The position involves leading clinical care, overseeing medication management, developing and supporting the care team, coordinating with external healthcare professionals, and providing support to residents and their families.

Requirements

Nice To Haves

Experience in assisted living, memory care, senior care, or a related clinical setting preferred.
Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead and oversee clinical care for residents within your community.
Conduct resident assessments and develop and maintain individualized service plans.
Monitor changes in resident condition and coordinate appropriate interventions.
Provide clinical guidance to caregivers and other members of the care team.
Promote resident safety, quality of care, and regulatory compliance.
Communicate effectively with residents, families, providers, and leadership.
Ensure safe and compliant medication management practices.
Oversee medication administration and documentation.
Monitor for medication discrepancies, changes, and potential concerns.
Provide education and guidance to caregivers regarding medication-related responsibilities.
Lead, coach, and support caregivers in providing high-quality resident care.
Provide training and education on clinical practices, resident needs, and best practices.
Promote accountability while creating a supportive and collaborative team environment.
Help identify opportunities to improve clinical outcomes and quality of care.
Serve as a clinical resource and mentor for the community team.
Partner with hospice, therapy providers, physicians, pharmacies, and other healthcare professionals.
Coordinate services and follow-up care to ensure residents receive comprehensive support.
Communicate changes in resident condition and care needs to appropriate parties.
Help ensure smooth transitions of care when residents are hospitalized, discharged, or receiving additional services.
Build trusting relationships with residents and their families.
Communicate clearly and compassionately regarding resident health and care needs.
Help families understand changes in condition, care plans, and available services.
Advocate for residents and ensure their individual needs and preferences are respected.
