About The Position

Ascension Sacred Heart Hospital Pensacola is hiring a Registered Nurse Manager for their Inpatient Rehabilitation department. This is a full-time, day shift position. The new facility is set to open in July 2026 and will provide continuous care for patients recovering from strokes, trauma, and other major injuries.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Florida. Credentialed from State Board of Nursing or current home state license for multi-state license recognition "Compact State" obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• 3 years of experience and 1 year of cumulative leadership experience required.

Nice To Haves

• Registered Nurse Manager for 2 or more years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements for self and within unit.
• Conduct hiring, training, directing, development and evaluating of staff, while adhering to the budget.
• Identify and resolve issues affecting the delivery of patient care services for the assigned unit(s).
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to guarantee efficient and effective delivery of health services in a unit.
