About The Position

Cobble Hill Health Center is currently hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Manager to join our team! Cobble Hill Health Center is a not-for-profit long- and short-term care facility providing services to the disabled and elderly for over 40 years. We are committed to delivering exceptional care while fostering a supportive and collaborative environment for our staff. The RN Manager is a key member of the leadership team, responsible for overseeing daily clinical operations, supporting nursing staff, and ensuring the highest standards of resident care. This role blends hands-on clinical oversight with strategic leadership to drive quality outcomes and a positive team culture.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
CPR Certification
Minimum 3–5 years of clinical experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role
Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
Passion for mentoring and developing team members
Ability to manage multiple priorities and problem-solve effectively
Availability to work occasional weekends as needed

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage daily clinical operations within the assigned unit or department
Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, promoting a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence
Ensure high-quality care for all residents, with a focus on reducing avoidable hospitalizations
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to support admissions, care planning, and resident outcomes
Address and resolve clinical and operational challenges in real time
Support staff development through coaching, education, and performance management
Act as a liaison between staff, residents, families, and senior leadership to ensure strong communication and satisfaction
