About The Position
The Registered Nurse Manager is accountable for associate performance and the provision of patient care within a specific environment and shift. This role involves monitoring fiscal and budgetary operations and providing support for the vision and direction of specific areas. The manager is responsible for ongoing interface and frequent communication with patients, customers, associates, and management, and is expected to effectively manage change, facilitate innovation, and foster teambuilding. Established in 1961, St. Josephs Hospital in Tucson is home to the Carondelet Neurological Institute and the Carondelet Joint Replacement Center, offering advanced care including a Level I Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and spacious labor and delivery units, along with high-quality care in cardiology, orthopedics, stroke, and emergency medicine.
