The Lutheran Home Hearthstone Assisted Living is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our PRN nursing team. Requirements

Must work a minimum of four (4) shifts per month
Must work at least one (1) weekend shift per month
Must complete at least one (1) observed holiday shift per calendar year
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license required
Minimum one (1) year of nursing experience required
Ability to comprehend and perform oral and written instructions and procedures
Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills

Nice To Haves

Experience working with older adults
Experience in assisted living, long-term care, skilled nursing, or senior living settings

Responsibilities

Provide skilled nursing care to residents in accordance with physician orders and care plans
Assess, monitor, and document resident conditions and changes
Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure high-quality resident care
Communicate effectively with residents, families, physicians, and team members
Respond to resident needs and emergencies in a timely and professional manner
Support a resident-centered environment that promotes dignity, independence, and well-being
Ensure compliance with state regulations, company policies, and nursing standards
