About The Position

Appalachian Behavioral Healthcare, part of the Ohio Department of Behavioral Health (DBH), is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) and Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join their team. DBH is committed to providing a critical system of behavioral healthcare in Ohio, helping individuals be well, get well, and stay well. They foster a collaborative, service-oriented, and inclusive environment, promoting wellness and recovery. RNs will provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adults in a residential behavioral-health setting. LPNs will support patient treatment plans and assist with daily care needs. Requirements

  • Current license as a registered professional nurse in the state of Ohio as issued by the Board of Nursing per Section 4723.03 of the Revised Code (RN).
  • License to practice nursing as a licensed practical nurse issued by the Ohio Board of Nursing pursuant to Section 4723 Ohio Revised Code (LPN).
  • MDS certification issued by ANNAC (American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordination) (LPN).
  • Official transcripts for all post-secondary education, coursework, or degrees listed on the application must be submitted before receiving a formal employment offer.
  • Must undergo a criminal background check.
  • Must submit to urinalysis to test for illegal drug use prior to appointment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate, evidence-based care to adults in a residential behavioral-health setting (RNs).
  • Support patient treatment plans and assist with daily care needs (LPNs).
