Requirements
- Current active Nebraska Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required
- Strong clinical judgment and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to providing compassionate, high-quality care
Responsibilities
- Deliver nursing care in accordance with individualized care plans and physician orders
- Perform resident assessments and monitor changes in condition
- Administer medications, treatments, and other nursing interventions safely and accurately
- Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members
- Provide guidance and support to nursing assistants and medication aides
- Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant documentation
- Respond to resident concerns and medical needs with professionalism and compassion
- Promote a culture of safety, quality, and exceptional customer service
- Assist with care planning and resident-centered care initiatives
