About The Position

Eventide Fargo is seeking a Full Time RN or LPN to work day shift (6:00a - 6:30p, 72 hours per pay period). This position has a set schedule of every 3rd weekend with a holiday rotation. A shift differential of $2 more per hour is offered on weekends worked. The RN/LPN provides and ensures the highest degree of nursing care, consistent with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as the philosophy, policies, and procedures of Eventide.

Requirements

  • Must have an active ND RN/LPN License or be able to obtain upon hire

Responsibilities

  • Assesses residents' health status and needs through physical assessments, observations, and interviews on a continuing basis.
  • Plans, implements, and evaluates residents' individualized plans of care, updating and making appropriate changes whenever necessary. Plans of care include interdisciplinary care plans, physician orders, and NA-R care plans.
  • Administers medications and treatments and monitors each for effectiveness.
  • Provides direct nursing care to residents whenever necessary according to established nursing policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Provides accurate documentation in the residents’ records according to established resident care policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Provides effective leadership to subordinate staff, which may include disciplinary measures.
  • Ensures that work responsibilities of subordinate staff are completed thoroughly and accurately within scheduled shifts and according to established nursing policies, procedures and standards.
  • Provides information, education, and support for residents and their families.
  • Ensures adequate staffing levels for a scheduled shift and will assist in finding replacements when needed.
  • Communicates the needs of the residents to all resident care staff on the unit.
  • Interacts with physicians and advanced practitioners and health care facilities as needed, according to the needs of the residents.
  • Continually updates nursing skills and knowledge by attending in-services, continuing education programs, and staff meetings.
  • Assists with resident care conferences.
  • Assists in orientation/training of new team members.
  • Encourages and assists residents’ to attain their highest physical, mental, psychosocial well-being.
  • Responsible for promptly reporting any incidents or evidence of abuse, neglect or violation of resident’s rights per policy.
  • Complies with rules and regulations as set forth by the Department of Health and the Center for Medicare/Medicaid services.
  • Assumes accountability for management of their individual electronic timecard on a daily basis.
