This position provides medication administration, assessments, treatments, documentation, and clinical support to promote the health, safety, and quality of life of persons served.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current Michigan RN or LPN license
  • CPR certification or willingness to obtain
  • Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
  • Strong communication, organizational, documentation, and clinical skills
  • Ability to pass required background screening

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of one year nursing experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor vital signs and changes in individuals' conditions
  • Complete nursing assessments and required clinical documentation
  • Provide wound care and other nursing treatments within scope of practice
  • Communicate significant changes in condition to physicians and clinical leadership
  • Ensure medication records and physician orders are accurate and current
  • Participate in care planning, team meetings, and medical appointments as needed
  • Provide health education to persons served, families, and staff
  • Maintain confidentiality and follow infection control and safety procedures
  • Participate in required training and competency activities
  • Perform other duties as assigned
