About The Position

Tryfacta is seeking a Registered Nurse – LDRP for our client in Aberdeen, WA 98520. This is a 13-week contract assignment. The role involves providing comprehensive care in Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Nursery settings, caring for mothers and newborns throughout the labor, delivery, and postpartum process.

Requirements

• Current Washington State RN license required.
• Multistate RN licenses accepted with required verification.
• Recent experience in: Labor & Delivery, Postpartum, Nursery
• BLS certification required.
• NRP certification required.
• Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.

Nice To Haves

• STABLE certification/training preferred.
• Meditech experience helpful but not required.
• Labor & Delivery scrub experience preferred but not required.
• Approved 6-hour suicide prevention training for applicable multistate license verification.
• Nursys demographic verification as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum.
• Care for newborns in the nursery and support routine newborn needs.
• Monitor maternal and fetal status and recognize changes requiring intervention.
• Assist with labor management, delivery procedures, and postpartum recovery.
• Administer medications and treatments according to orders and protocols.
• Provide patient and family education related to childbirth, postpartum care, and newborn care.
• Collaborate with physicians, midwives, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow established safety and infection-control practices.
• Scrub for procedures is a plus but not required.
