About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality, patient-centered care in a fast-paced maternity setting. The RN will support patients throughout labor, delivery, and the immediate postpartum period, ensuring the safety and well-being of both mother and newborn.

Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience required
Active RN license (State of California)
BLS (Basic Life Support) AHA required
ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) AHA required
NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Proficiency in fetal monitoring interpretation
Ability to manage obstetric emergencies effectively
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to work in a high-pressure environment

Nice To Haves

Experience in high-acuity or fast-paced settings preferred
Fetal Monitoring Certification (preferred or required per facility)

Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring patients, including assessment, monitoring, and intervention
Monitor fetal heart rate patterns and maternal vital signs
Assist physicians and midwives during labor, delivery, and obstetric procedures
Administer medications, IV therapy, and epidurals as prescribed
Support and educate patients and families throughout the childbirth process
Respond to obstetric emergencies, including rapid response and neonatal resuscitation
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes
Adhere to infection control, safety, and hospital policies
