About The Position
Seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide specialized maternal and newborn care in a high-acuity hospital environment.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years Maternal & Child Health experience required
- Minimum 2 years IV insertion and phlebotomy experience required
- Minimum 2 years conscious sedation experience required
- Associate Degree in Nursing required
- Active New York RN license required
- NYSED Primary Source Verification required
- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- NRP certification required
- Full English proficiency required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong Labor & Delivery and emergency response skills
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum stages
- Perform IV insertion and phlebotomy procedures
- Monitor patients receiving conscious sedation
- Collaborate with obstetric and neonatal care teams
- Perform neonatal resuscitation and emergency interventions as needed
- Monitor maternal and fetal conditions throughout delivery
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and ensure quality care
- Support patient safety and positive birth outcomes
