About The Position
This is a part-time, bargaining union position for a Registered Nurse in the Labor & Delivery department at UVMMC - Medical Center - Main Campus. The unit supports the network and region by performing 2,200 to 2,300 deliveries per year with 11 rooms and 2 operating rooms in-unit. The scheduled hours are 48 biweekly, with a night shift from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, requiring every other weekend work. On-call duties include 16 hours in a 4-week schedule.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license
- Ability to work night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Availability to work every other weekend
- Willingness to perform on-call duties (16 hours in a 4-week schedule)
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in the Labor & Delivery unit.
- Support network and region with deliveries.
- Perform deliveries, with 2,200 to 2,300 deliveries per year.
- Work in a unit with 11 rooms and 2 operating rooms.
- Be available for on-call duties (16 hours in a 4-week schedule).
