About The Position
The Labor & Delivery unit at UVMMC supports our network and region by performing 2,200 to 2,300 deliveries per year. The unit is equipped with 11 rooms and 2 operating rooms in-unit. This is a full-time, bargaining union position.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse license
- Ability to work night/evening shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM)
- Availability to work every other weekend
- On-call availability for 16 hours within a 4-week schedule.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for patients in the Labor & Delivery unit.
- Support network and region with approximately 2,200 to 2,300 deliveries per year.
- Work within a unit that has 11 rooms and 2 operating rooms.
