About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to join the L&D team at MVHS Inc. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns throughout the antepartum, intrapartum, postpartum, and recovery phases while collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Requirements
- Active New York RN License.
- Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NRP Certifications.
- Minimum 4–5 years of recent Labor & Delivery experience.
- Previous travel experience required.
- Strong fetal monitoring, critical thinking, and communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with EPIC/Stork EMR and OBIX preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for labor and delivery patients.
- Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor and delivery.
- Assist with vaginal deliveries, C-sections, and postpartum recovery.
- Administer medications, provide patient education, and maintain accurate documentation.
- Float to assigned units as needed while ensuring high-quality patient care.
