About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) will provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and protocols of the healthcare organization. This role involves implementing and monitoring patient care plans, monitoring and communicating patient condition, serving as a primary coordinator for patient care across disciplines, and carrying out physician and nursing orders. The RN will also assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with the healthcare team.

Requirements

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Associate Professional Registered Nurse credentialed from the Alabama Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing AND professional licensure at time of hire required.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Labor and Delivery RN experience preferred.
• Previous LDRP experience preferred.
