Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery - 36 Hours
About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides exceptional, compassionate patient care within a dynamic healthcare environment. Utilizing the nursing process, the RN assesses patient needs, develops individualized care plans, implements interventions, and evaluates outcomes. The RN collaborates effectively with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and promote a positive patient experience. The unit focuses on physiologic birth, shared decision making, and evidence-based practice, with an LDRP model and a Special Care Nursery. It also features expansive OB and Midwife delivery models, a collaborative, interdisciplinary culture with high-level nursing autonomy, supportive leadership, experienced preceptors, and a commitment to professional growth. There are opportunities to mentor, precept, and contribute to unit-based excellence.
Requirements
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing is required
- At least 2 years of L&D experience
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
