About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Labor & Delivery RN to provide high-quality maternal and newborn care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The ideal candidate will have strong L&D experience, fetal monitoring expertise, and the ability to manage high-acuity patients.
Requirements
- Active RN License.
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP Certifications required.
- AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring required.
- Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience.
- Previous travel experience required.
- Must be able to circulate in the OR.
- Must be able to perform sterile vaginal exams.
Nice To Haves
- EPIC experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care during labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum periods.
- Monitor maternal and fetal status using fetal monitoring systems.
- Assist with labor management and emergency interventions.
- Circulate for cesarean sections and OB procedures.
- Perform patient assessments and sterile vaginal exams.
- Administer medications and treatments.
- Document patient care accurately in EPIC.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
