About The Position

Endeavor Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for Labor & Delivery, working day shifts on a per diem basis. This role involves providing professional nursing care in accordance with the Illinois Professional Registered Nurse Practice Act and hospital policies. The nurse will utilize critical thinking skills to assess patients, recognize changes in condition, plan and evaluate care, monitor progress, and record observations. Responsibilities include delegating patient care tasks and functioning as a team member to achieve unit goals. Specific duties may vary by unit or shift.

Requirements

Associate Degree or higher in Nursing
If Associate Degree in Nursing is the highest degree held, must graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within five years of position start date (effective September 1, 2021)
Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse licensure
Current BLS through American Heart Association
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) within six months of start date into position
Certificate of Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM) within one year of start date into position
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification within six months of start date into position
