About The Position

Registered Nurse – Labor and Delivery Who We Are: Elliot Hospital’s Women's and Children's Services are dedicated to addressing the specific health and wellness needs of women and their children. Options for Labor and Delivery include nitrous oxide, epidural anesthesia, surgical safety compliant with World Health Organization guidelines for cesarean births and more. On average, there are 150-180 deliveries per month, 10 beds with 2 ORs and a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3. About the Job: The Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery participates in high and low risk intrapartum and antepartum women as well as receive women in transfer for high-risk complications of pregnancy.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (ASN or BSN – BSN preferred)
• Current New Hampshire, compact, or multistate licensure as Registered Nurse required
• Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment
• MUST HAVE 3 YEARS EXPERIENCE in L&D
