About The Position

As a Savings Advocate, you'll be the first voice members hear - the trusted expert who helps them unlock significant savings on their prescriptions. You'll combine strong communication, consultative sales, and healthcare benefits knowledge to educate members on available programs, enroll them in savings options, and inspire confidence in the process. This role is ideal for someone energized by high-volume outbound calling, who enjoys consultative conversations and takes pride in converting curiosity into meaningful member outcomes. Success in this position requires strong analytical thinking, ownership mindset, and comfort working in a fast-paced, scaling organization.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of outbound or consultative sales experience (phone-based preferred)
  • Proven high-volume outbound calling experience (50+ calls daily)
  • Experience in healthcare, PBM, or related industries (340B knowledge a plus)
  • Healthcare benefits literacy, including insurance structures, copays, accumulators, and savings programs
  • Experience with Five9
  • Proven ability to influence, persuade, and build trust over the phone
  • Strong communication and presentation skills - you know how to connect with people quickly
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess savings options quickly
  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational habits
  • Self-motivated with strong time-management skills
  • Accountability, ownership, and pride in delivering high-quality work

Responsibilities

  • Drive Outreach & Engagement: Make proactive outbound calls to new and existing members, introducing cost-saving opportunities and motivating participation.
  • Educate & Influence: Clearly explain available savings programs such as international sourcing, 340B programs, and copay assistance - tailoring the message to each member's needs.
  • Convert Interest into Action: Enroll eligible members into manufacturer copay card savings programs and ensure all required information is gathered efficiently.
  • Assess Savings Opportunities: Analyze member benefit structures and quickly identify the most effective savings pathway.
  • Manage Inbound Leads: Handle calls from current and prospective members, delivering excellent service and converting inquiries into enrollments.
  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with the Enrollment and Member Advocate teams to ensure smooth transitions and a seamless member experience.
  • Champion the Member Experience: Build lasting relationships through empathy, active listening, and solution-oriented communication.
  • Contribute to Team Goals: Meet and exceed outreach, enrollment, and savings targets while supporting overall departmental success.
