Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Oklahoma Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Responsibilities

  • Take the lead in implementing, continuously monitoring, and adjusting comprehensive patient care plans to achieve optimal health outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary coordinator for all disciplines, seamlessly integrating team efforts to provide truly well-coordinated and continuous patient care.
  • Monitor, accurately record, and communicate changes in patient condition as appropriate to ensure timely and effective clinical decisions.
  • Accurately and promptly note and carry out physician and nursing orders, upholding the highest standards of safety and protocol.
  • Proactively assess patient discharge planning needs and partner with the healthcare team to coordinate smooth, safe, and effective transitions of care.
