Registered Nurse (RN) Labor and Delivery- Part Time
About The Position
Sentara Martha Jefferson Hospital is hiring a Part Time Registered Nurse for the LDRP. This is a night shift position with required call. The LDRP unit also offers post operative care for complex GYN and Breast surgical needs. This specialty area has a 100-member team cross trained to offer best in class healthcare to Charlottesville, VA, and surrounding areas. The schedule is primarily 12-hour shifts with rotating weekends and holiday requirements. Awarded as US News Top Maternity Hospitals, the LDRP at Sentara Martha Jefferson offers state of the art care while maintaining a personalized experience for all patients. The platform currently has approximately 100 employees across various clinical and support roles. Our RN retention rate is 98%.
Requirements
- Degree or diploma in Registered Nursing
- Registered nursing license required
- 2 years of acute care registered nurse experience in Women's health preferred
- Strong understanding of patient safety protocols.
Nice To Haves
- BSN or MSN Preferred
- NRP within 6 months of hire.
- BLS within 90 days of hire
- EFM- Electronic Fetal monitoring preferred
- Certified Obstetrics Nursing preferred
- Experience in charge roles preferred
- Labor and Delivery specific Experience preferred
- Previous charge or supervisory experience.
