About The Position
This position may qualify for a sign-on bonus. The role directs nursing service activities of the Labor and Delivery Department and renders specialized professional nursing care to patients in Labor and Delivery. The nurse will treat patients and their families with courtesy and respect, creating a trusting attitude in parents towards nursing and helping them accept their responsibility as parents. This role supports medical care as directed by medical staff and pursuant to the objectives and policies of the hospital. Work encompasses direct and indirect patient care.
Requirements
- Associate's degree or Diploma in Nursing
- RN with a minimum of 1 year of L&D experience required
- BLS, NRP, ACLS & Fetal Monitoring required
- Valid Texas RN license
Nice To Haves
- Required certifications are to be completed by 3 months of employment.
