The Registered Nurse (RN) provides patient-centered care through the nursing process of assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. This role is responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality care based on established clinical protocols and physician/provider orders. The RN collaborates with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure effective patient care and desired outcomes, while maintaining a supportive and compassionate environment for patients and their families. This specific role focuses on providing high-quality vascular access services to infants, children, and adults. Responsibilities include peripheral line insertions, central line dressing changes, CL de-clotting, and port accessing across various units such as Med-Surg, Telemetry, and Pediatrics. The team also responds to OP areas including ER, Endo, Radiology, and Pre-op, as well as ICUs when their specialty is needed. The position is part-time, .6 FTE, with day shifts from 11 am to 7 pm, and does not require on-call duties.
