About The Position

Henry Ford Warren, Hospital is seeking a full-time Registered Nurse for their IV Team, specializing in PICC line insertions. The nurse will support patients, families, and the healthcare team by effectively communicating and finding solutions to ensure patient goals are met. Requirements

Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
Health care provider certification (BCLS).
Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities to formulate effective nursing care plans.
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
Effective communication skills with patients, families, and hospital personnel.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred.
Full-time vascular access RN with experience in inserting peripheral lines, midline and PICC line insertion.
Chemo certification required within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

Provide leadership in coordinating and delivering compassionate patient care.
Utilize the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Delegate, supervise, and document care and teaching for patients and families.
Communicate pertinent patient/family information to the healthcare team.
Participate in finding and implementing solutions for variances from patient goals.
