Requirements

Licensed Registered Nurse credentialed from the Michigan Board of Nursing obtained within 2 months of hire date.
Certified BLS Provider specializing in Basic Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 3 months of hire date.
Graduate of an approved professional (RN) nursing program.

Nice To Haves

Experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
Familiarity with electronic health record systems.

Responsibilities

Coordinate the development of a multi-disciplinary plan of care to ensure appropriate length of stay and resource utilization.
Provide patient care that respects individual rights, dignity, values, and cultural preferences.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, safety measures, and self-care, ensuring effective communication and support.
Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and perform procedures according to established guidelines.
Monitor patient responses to interventions, recognizing and addressing acute changes in patient conditions.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure smooth transitions and appropriate discharge planning.
