About The Position
Join an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, state-of-the-art environment providing specialized patient care to adult inpatients and outpatients undergoing interventional radiology procedures. These procedures include biopsies, embolizations, ablations, angiography, drain placements, and other image-guided interventions.
Requirements
- Current New York State Registered Nurse (RN) License.
- BLS certification (AHA only).
- ACLS certification (AHA only).
- Telemetry experience.
- A minimum of 1 year of recent Interventional Radiology experience.
Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures.
- Monitor patients during procedures and provide post-procedure recovery support, including in the PACU and extended stay (23-hour) areas.
- Participate as an essential member of the critical embolization response team for trauma patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
