About The Position
This role is for an Internal Traveler Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU) at Wolfson Children's Hospital. Wolfson Children's Hospital is the only children's hospital in the region and is recognized by U.S. News & World Report as one of the best children's hospitals in the U.S. It is part of Baptist Health, a recognized top employer in healthcare. The role involves assisting the primary RN with admissions, discharges, and transfers. The ADT RN for admissions will complete the admission assessment and skin check for all new admits. For discharges, the ADT RN will check in and out with the primary RN, review medication reconciliation, and conduct discharge education review with the patient and family. The role also includes completing the discharge note, removing the IF (if needed), and entering transport requests into Tele Tracking. The primary location is Downtown - Main Building. Requirements
- Registered Nurse license
- Experience in Pediatric Cardiac ICU
- Ability to perform admission assessments
- Proficiency in medication reconciliation
- Skills in patient and family education
- Familiarity with Tele Tracking system
