Requirements

• 2+ years of IMCU/PCU experience
• Documented travel nursing experience
• Skills checklist matching the specialty required
• Driver’s license with address matching candidate demographics
• Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required
• NURSYS license verification report required for Active New York RN license and all RN licenses
• EPIC EMR experience required

• Local candidates accepted at local rates if residing less than 75 miles from the facility.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with Neurological, Cardiac, Trauma, Respiratory, COPD, DKA, Sepsis, MI, Cardiovascular stepdown, and Post-operative conditions.
• Operate and monitor specialty equipment including temporary pacemakers, chest tubes, arterial lines (A-lines), BiPAP, Neptune Vapo, and ventilators.
• Manage chronic ventilator patients unable to wean.
• Collaborate with Respiratory Therapy (RT) for patient care.
• Care for patients aged 18 years through adult in a 64-bed unit with 15 designated Neuro beds.
