About The Position
We are urgently hiring a Registered Nurse for our 14-bed Intensive Care Unit (ICU) in Mattoon, IL. This position requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the ICU specialty. Candidates must possess BLS and ACLS certifications and hold a valid Illinois nursing license. Local candidates within a 50-mile radius are not eligible; applicants must have a verifiable permanent address outside this radius.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) specialty.
- BLS certification required.
- ACLS certification required.
- Valid Illinois nursing license.
- Verifiable permanent address outside a 50-mile radius of Mattoon, IL.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a 14-bed ICU unit.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient vital signs and condition.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and treatment plans.
