RN Intensive Care Unit
About The Position
This is a full-time night position (7p-730a) for a Registered Nurse (RN) in an organization that focuses on treating the whole person, physically, emotionally, and spiritually. MacNeal Hospital, located approximately 30 minutes from Downtown Chicago, is seeking dedicated Registered Nurses (RNs) to provide exceptional care. The hospital offers a supportive atmosphere for career growth and impact. The ICU unit is team-oriented, providing opportunities to manage a wide range of diagnoses and advance nursing skills. The ICU unit has 17 private rooms and offers 24/7 physician and resident support. Common conditions treated in the ICU include MI, DKA, Sepsis, Liver Failure, CVA, and Post-surgical vascular procedures.
Requirements
- A Degree from an accredited school/college of nursing (BSN or ADN).
- BLS Provider (accredited by the American Heart Association) required prior to hire.
- Illinois Board of Nursing license prior to hire.
- At least 1 year of inpatient acute nursing experience, or 1 year of ED nursing experience.
