Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit

About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Travel Registered Nurse opportunity in a General Medical-Surgical Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment on day shift. Candidates must have at least two years of recent ICU specialty experience and prior travel nursing experience.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience within the ICU specialty
- General Medical Surgical ICU experience
- Prior travel nursing experience
- Required BLS, ACLS
Responsibilities
- Track vital signs and hemodynamic parameters continuously
- Monitor fluid intake, output, and electrolyte balances
- Interpret lab results such as arterial blood gases (ABGs)
- Administer high-risk medications and titrate critical IV drips
- Manage and secure artificial airways and mechanical ventilators
- Maintain invasive lines, including central venous and arterial catheters
- Troubleshoot complex life-support and monitoring technology
- Respond instantly to acute life-threatening medical crises
- Execute individualized care plans designed by physicians
- Document all care, interventions, and assessments meticulously
