About The Position
The Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit is responsible for providing high-quality patient care, specifically in Neuro and Stroke cases, utilizing EPIC charting in a fast-paced environment with a patient ratio of 1:2, sometimes 1:3.
Requirements
- Illinois RN License
- Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
- 2+ years of strong ICU experience, specifically in Neuro and Stroke
- Passed EKG test with 80% or higher
- EPIC charting experience
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care based on the individualized care plan.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs.
- Collaborate with healthcare team to implement and evaluate patient care.
- Adjust to floating requirements to other units as needed.
